Not a period drama but features a lot of familiar faces...
Robin Hood's Lucy Griffiths will take on the lead role of Ruth in The Little House, a drama based on Philippa Gregory's contemporary novel with Rupert Evans (Emma, North and South) playing husband Patrick.
Francesca Annis (Wives and Daughters, Cranford, Jane Eyre) and Tim Pigott-Smith (North and South, Alice in Wonderland) will join the cast as Ruth's interfering in-laws Elizabeth and Frederick.
