Along with “Glee” actress Lee Michele and R&B singer Jazmine Sulivan, the Black Eyed Peas member was recognized for her musical achievements at New York’s Pierre hotel yesterday (Dec 2). Fergie told everyone that she felt humbled to have been placed in a category with such strong females in the industry.
“Congratulations to all the women of the year. I’m so humbled to be in a category with so many strong females in the business. For what used to be just a boys’ club, us b***hes are coming up.”
Her bandmates Taboo and Apl.de.ap were also present and spoke on her behalf.
